New product by BBG! This replaces the stock upper timing cover on VW 07K engines with a low profile billet aluminum part for increased hood and firewall clearance. The large oil filler neck is gone, and instead a -10 SAE o-ring port on top can be used to fill oil or as a crankcase breather connection. Alternatively, our new valve cover (sold separately) has an optional full size oil fill cap.
The rear coolant flange is fastened using bolts instead of the OE studs to reduce clearance needed for removal with the engine in the car. A -10 SAE o-ring plug is included, as well as a new seal for the coolant pipe passthrough, an o-ring seal to the cylinder head, and bolts for the rear coolant flange.
