The revised geometry rear suspension kit (RGRS) for your 944/968 is finally available! Professionally engineered for durability and performance, fabricated by the talented folks at HighStrung944. No more homemade or poorly engineered kits that will buckle under load.

When lowering your 944/968 the rear suspension geometry suffers, introducing less than ideal handling characteristics. The RGRS replaces the torsion bar carrier and spring plates in your rear suspension. It is designed with raised mounting points to correct the geometry on your lowered 944/968. This allows for far better traction on corner exit and returns the car back to the way the Porsche Engineers designed it.

The torsion bar carrier is manufactured from 3" steel square tube with a 3/16" wall thickness. The spring plates are adjustable via stock style slotted holes as well as a threaded rod end for greater toe adjustability. The spring plates are coated with Zinc Chromate, the same process used by Porsche from the factory for long lasting rust protection. The factory rear sway bar and parking brake cable mounts are included as well. It even saves 7# over the factory setup!

This kit has been tested in the real world as well as digitally. For real world testing we have been using our Turbo 07K swap car. It makes 450whp, runs 650 lb/in rear springs and 315 width 200 treadwear tires. We have tested the suspension for over 2 years with thousands of miles of street use and countless track days.

For digital testing we used FEA, as seen in the pictures above. Loads were based on combined thrust, cornering, and bump loads derived from 600 lb-ft engine torque in 2nd gear (~8:1 drive ratio), 2G lateral grip, and 3G bump/pothole.  Maximum stress was below yield strength with a margin of safety, and maximum deflection was less than 1 mm at mid-span.

Note: These kits require minor modification to your factory aluminum torsion tube mounts, pictured above.
