Combine BBG's low profile valve cover, upper timing cover, and rear coolant flange to maximize hood and firewall clearance while also improving crankcase ventilation for turbo and high RPM applications.
The billet aluminum low profile valve cover features a baffled -10 SAE o-ring port to keep crank case pressures down and oil out of your catch can. This newly improved valve cover enables you to run the stock 07K ignition coils and gasket while still maintaining a low profile for hood clearance. An optional oil fill port and cap with o-ring seal are available.
The billet aluminum upper timing cover replaces the stock VW 07K version for increased hood and firewall clearance. The large oil filler neck is gone, and instead a -10 SAE o-ring port on top can be used as a crankcase breather connection. The rear coolant flange is fastened using bolts instead of the OE studs to reduce clearance needed for removal with the engine in the car.
The billet aluminum rear coolant flange gives you significantly more clearance for your longitudinal swap. There are ports for the heater core/thermostat bypass line, the OEM 07K coolant temp sensor, a steam vent as well as an additional threaded port for an aftermarket coolant temp sensor/gauge.
